1970年后的柏林。Sonnenallee大街（太阳大街）是东柏林和西柏林之间的通道。那儿的人们过着平静的生活。来自西柏林的希望、悲伤、爱情和梦想也都交织在一起，勾勒出东德在柏林墙倒塌之前的情形，画面真实而感人。-CCF A group of kids grow up on the short, wrong (east) side of the Sonnenallee in Berlin, right next to one of the few border crossings between East and West reserved for German citizens. The antics of these kids, their families, of the "West German" friends and relatives who come to visit, and of the East German border guards, all serve to illustrate the absurdity of everyday life on the Sonnenallee, and therefore throughout the former East Germany.
