How should you live if there are no answers to your questions? Those looking for answers rush into the unknown, grope in the dark and clinch to every glimmer of hope. But how should you live if there’s no hope? „Until We Fall” is set on the sunny Canary Islands. Years ago, a young couple has bought a historical summer house, hoping to spend long winter vacations by the warm ocean together with their son Lucas. Louise and Adam (played by well-known Danish actors Lisa Carlehed and Dar Salim) have returned to the island after a long while but this time without Lucas, and the local police insists on something impossible. „Until We Fall” is his second full-length film after the powerful debut feature „In Your Arms” (2015) which immediately gained international recognition. Sahlstrøm always explores the topics of life and death and does it with profound passion. They way Sahlstrøm explores the parents’ grief in a lost paradise is extremely empathic and elaborate, and wholly engages the audience. Dagmar Raudam
